Why this exists
Your cycle is not an inconvenience to be managed. It is information, a monthly reflection of your overall health. When your period is hard, your body is asking for support, not suppression. FLOW was made for those days: a warming, nourishing tea that works with your cycle rather than against it.
The ritual
Steep one heaped teaspoon in near-boiling water for 7–10 minutes, covered to keep in the aromatic oils. Drink 1–3 cups a day in the days before and during your period. Sweeten with raw honey if you like. Hold the cup. Breathe in the steam. Let it be a moment of actual rest, not just a hot drink.
What's inside
- Red raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus): one of the most time-honoured herbs in women's herbal tradition, naturally rich in magnesium, potassium and iron
- Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus): named for its long traditional use during menstruation
- Ginger root (Zingiber officinale): warming and comforting, and traditionally used for nausea
- Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla): a gentle, calming herb for tense, irritable days
- Nettle leaf (Urtica dioica): a mineral-rich leaf, naturally high in iron
Ingredients: Red raspberry leaf, cramp bark, ginger root, chamomile, nettle leaf.
Rooted in Jamaica
In Jamaica, plant care for women's health has always existed: passed down quietly, sometimes spoken about in whispers, sometimes brewed openly in the kitchen. Herbs for the womb, for the cycle, for the transition. FLOW honours that tradition, and the understanding that a woman's cycle is sacred and the body has wisdom.
